priorities
I think my blog will have to take a back seat for some time. I intend to write copiously about this harrowing case, and I realize I can’t do that in a public place for the time being. My lawyer has also advised me not to speak about it, so I’ll go along for the time being.

Well, this is the last i'll say on the matter. Up until a few months ago, i was a foster-carer, a 'job' i did for about two years. Through a non-government agency, i looked after troubled teens, wards of the state, on a one-to-one basis. I had four different placements during that time, and i think i'd earned a damn good rep for my easy-going treatment of these kids. That all came to a screeching halt recently when one of them accused me of the worst possible thing a carer can be accused of, short of murder. The police, whether through incompetence or laziness, or a mixture of both, have arrested me over the matter, sans evidence as far as i can tell. It's the arrest, not the accusation, that has been the real shocker of course. I know i'll be cleared eventually, but the damage has already been done. Can't say more, have already written too much on the matter for now. I'll be bringing a book out about it, though, and then there'll be the movie...
